Cristiano Ronaldo lost his chance to win the last trophy in his career

In the World Cup quarterfinals which took place on Saturday, Portugal is beaten by Morocco 1-0, making Morocco national team, the first African team in World Cup history that qualified for the semi-finals. Cristiano Ronaldo is now 37 years old and he declared that it is his final appearance at this tourney and his last chance to win the World Cup trophy. The Portuguese football legend couldn't hold back his emotions and burst into tears while being escorted from the pitch.  

Unfortunately, Ronaldo's last games showed that he is slowly losing his prime skills and form. In the last two matches, he was benched by the Portuguese national team's coach - Fernando Santos. He is clearly too old to mark out on the pitch as he was a few years ago. His last year's bad performances are also influenced by tragic events from his private life, in December 2021, he and his wife were expecting twins, and in April they announced the tragedy, their son had died. It is really sad to watch his career end, especially when you were watching him since you were a child.

Russia is about to deploy musicians to front to boost morale

Russian government announced that they will deploy musicians to their front lines in Ukraine. According to Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu, the initiative, which is being called "Music on the Front," will involve sending musicians from various genres and regions of the country to perform for troops on the conflict zones to boost morales. The performances will be streamed online as a way to showcase Russian culture. The program is set to begin in the coming weeks, with the first group of musicians being deployed to Syria. This move, again shows that Russian army deals with many problems on the battle field. Many of the soldiers are opposed to Putin’s authority and they know that they are against the whole world.  Conspiracy theories make us think differently, intrigue us and often caution against some things, which makes them so popular. Most of us don't question the information we get from the media. When we hear from the Internet, TV, and radio about some event, we believe them, we often don't even think about the falsity of this information.
