Why are conspiracy theories so popular?
Conspiracy theories make us think differently, intrigue us and often caution against some things, which makes them so popular. Most of us don't question the information we get from the media. When we hear from the Internet, TV, and radio about some event, we believe them, we often don't even think about the falsity of this information. But also some of us like to think deeper, they want to be sure that some events actually happened, or some ideas actually work. Conspiracy theories force us to think deeper, show us different thought paths which often change our way of thinking. For example, because of the popularity of the theory which says about the covid vaccine which contains chips that someone wants to implant into all humans, a lot of people are scared of getting vaccinated, which influences the pandemic state. Conspiracy theories actually change our whole way of thinking, they teach us to actually don't believe in all information from media, they intrigue us and because of that, they are so popular.
You start off by presenting conspiracy theories as something positive, a way to deepen and broaden our thinking. And then you give an obviously ridiculous example of the vaccine containing a chip, which ruins this line of argument. As a result, your paragraph is really unconvincing.
