Danish team aren't allowed to wear shirts with pro-human message by FIFA .

FIFA disallowed the men's Danish soccer team to wear training shirts with the message: "Human rights for all" written on the stomach, during this month's World Cup in Qatar. Organization claim that this text violates the International Football Association Board's laws of the game, which says that "Equipment must not have any political, religious or personal slogans, statements or images". The Danish Football Federation says that the message is universal and it isn't a political call because all people should support it.

Though in my opinion, the statement "Human rights for all" is good and reasonable, it should not be on the footballers' shirts. I think that sports and tournaments should be separated from any political subjects. World Cup is an opportunity for football fans from around the world to watch high-level games and cheer for their teams. It shouldn't transform into the next field of political games, it could destroy the whole atmosphere and fun. Even though the Danish team's statement isn't that controversial and it didn't mean to have any political call, I think that FIFA's decision is correct. In my opinion, footballers' shirts should not have any type of messages and statements printed on them, which are not referred to football. Are they really necessary?

  1. Why should a slogan calling for respecting human rights spoil the atmosphere at the World Cup? Who would disagree with what it says? FIFA is a corrupt organisation and Qatar is a country where human rights are violated to an appalling extent (e.g. foreign workers).
